WHY IS IT IMPORTANT
Are you stressed?
Do you feel like you never have time to relax?
When was the last time you had a long, hot, relaxing bath?
Creating a ritual around a regular bath time, and changing your perspective around the healing properties of water can be an effective first step to self-care and mindfulness.
I have a sacred relationship with water. Especially nature like lakes and the ocean, but also I appreciate the power of hot water.
I found it challenging to carve out time in the day that was just for me. I found myself often jumping in the crowded bath with my 4 kids which was less than mindful and relaxing!
I dedicated 15 minutes most days to have a hot bath, alone. Me-time.
Time to recharge and reconnect.

Mindfulness tips to practice in your luxury home spa:
It is so important to set an intention. This time alone is just for you. It can be a good idea to share this with anyone who lives with you so they know you don’t want to be disturbed.
It can be helpful to be aware of your goal. How do you want to feel?
You can use your senses to bring awareness to the experience.
What can you:
- How do you feel?
Taking slow, deep breaths can calm the monkey chatter of the mind and help ground you in the present experience.
Most resistance actually comes from ourselves. It is easy to blame it on the noisy children or the husband working late, or even claim that we don’t like baths, and showers are better for the environment. The truth is, often we don’t feel like we are worthy of this dedicated time to ourselves. If it is a very new idea to prioritise self-care and self-love, there will be a lot of resistance and this is normal.
- Mindset: ” I don’t have time, I don’t deserve it!”
THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO KNOW
